My Depict film first edit

For this edit I used a contrast increase and a brightness decrease to give a dark feel, also i used some music that i think i may purchase so I used the demo watermarked version to see how it will fit with the film. I added in some sound effects of children laughing and people whispering to add to the suspense. The feedback I got from this are as follows: "I liked the sountrack a lot, I thought it sounded ideal for a searching horror scene like this one where the character is investigating an unnerving place. I thought bits where the childrens noises could be heard would have been more impactful on a still shot, or one where our attention is drawn to something in particular on screen rather than having it at fairly general moments. Nice location, worked well and I found it intriguing. The beginning where the guy is walking through the grass I really liked those shots. Didnt think you needed the shot of him getting out of the car though." "Great location. I guess you need to cut 50 seconds off but you have plenty you can take out when he's in the building. The part where he leaves the car almost looks like the car disappears in the next shot. Have you got a shot of him moving away from the car. The end goes by really quick and I almost missed what happened, if it can be slightly longer. Well done seriously" "I would review your sound, I definitely hear some tripod creak in places. Some of your out of focus shots look really good, I would suggest cutting off the latter half of the shot where it pulls into focus and leave it with the man out of focus wandering down the corridor. I think it could do with a bit of a colour grade, there are some interesting colour tones in the building that will bring out your shots more if they are intensified slightly. Also perhaps trim the run time down a bit. Felt a tad long for what was happening."

2nd edit for projections

my 2nd edit for my projections I have added threshold from Premier Pro to the clips of the dancer at the point where she shows up not as a silhouette but as real life. I wanted to keep the mirror image look however this effect makes her look cartoonish and more in sync with the rest of the video. I also added a reverse effect to the tram to add more movement.

Edit first draft:

feedback: add in different transitions so it has a flowing look, perhaps get rid of the real life clips of the dancer as it doesnt fit well with the rest of the silhouettes.
